WebJun 8, 2024 · When CD5 was conditionally ablated, T cells were unable to maintain higher expression of the cytoplasmic NF-κB inhibitor IκBα. Consistent with this, resting CD5 hi T cells expressed more of the NF-κB p65 protein than CD5 lo cells, without significant increases in transcript levels, in the absence of TCR signals. WebJul 28, 2024 · In this study, we have shown the molecular mechanism regulating the expression and function of CD5 on leukaemic T cells. A total of 250 patients suffering from leukaemia and lymphoma were immunophenotyped. Final diagnosis was based on their clinical presentation, morphological data and flow cytometry-based immunophenotyping.

WebDec 13, 2024 · CD79 is expressed throughout the B-cell life cycle, but expression is more variable in B-cell neoplasms, and depending on the antibody clone, may require permeabilization to detect a cytoplasmic … CD5 is a cluster of differentiation expressed on the surface of T cells (various species) and in a subset of murine B cells known as B-1a. The expression of this receptor in human B cells has been a controversial topic and to date there is no consensus regarding the role of this receptor as a marker of … See more CD5 is a good immunohistochemical marker for T-cells, although not as sensitive as CD3.
